Victoria Peak
Victoria Peak or The Peak is a mountain in the southwest of Hong Kong with an altitude of 552 meters, the highest in Hong Kong.
The Peak is one of the most popular tourism objects in Hong Kong with average of 6 million visitors each year. The most astonishing view is THE PEAK by night where you can enjoy the view all over Hong Kong and Kowloon. This location becomes the most elite living area.
Victoria Peak can be reached by on foot or Peak Tram. This tram has been operated more than 100 years and it has no record of tram accident so far. It takes only 8 minutes to reach the top. If you use the Tram, passengers can overlook Hong Kong city on one side. But if you decided to go on foot, you may enjoy the full view of Hong Kong city.
Upon reaching the top, you may see a 7-storey building called Peak Tower. Peak Tower is a tower in Victoria Peak yang - becomes a last stop of Peak Tram. The Architect Terry Farrel has designed this 10,400 m2 tower in the shape of a wok (half circle with straight line on top). Some tourist attractions in Peak Tower is Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium - more than 450 extraordinary and odd things from various countries. While on the 4th floor, spectators can visit the Peak Explorer Motion Simulator 3 dimension room.
