Visitors who enter Indonesia are eligible for national visa-free and VISA ON ARRIVAL (VOA) system.  Effective August 2005, the Indonesian government had revised the entry visa / fee requirements as follows:

Citizens of 11 countries and territories are eligible for a 30 day visa-free upon presentation of a valid passport.

Dry Seasons	Rainy Seasons

Indonesia has only 2 seasons along the year, that is the "dry" and the "wet" (rainy) seasons. The dry season normally starts from May - October and the rainy season starts from November - April. February has the most rainfall and October can be the hottest month along the year.

The local currency is Rp (Rupiah) and comes in (bank note) denominations of Rp 1,000 ;  2,000 ;  5,000 ;  10,000 ;  100,000. Coins break down into 100 ; 500 ; and 1,000.
